CZ‑OPENSCREEN
National Infrastructure for Chemical Biology
CZ-OPENSCREEN is a state-of-the-art infrastructure for chemical biology and genetics offering open access to potential users. Our mission is to identify new molecular probes and to develop new tools for the research of chemical compounds – candidates for the development of new potential therapeutics.
HIGH-THROUGHPUT SCREENING
Provides comprehensive services encompassing the identification of biologically active compounds by screening of large compound libraries using biological assays and state-of-the-art technologies integrated in robotic systems.
CHEMOSENSITIVE PROFILING
Chemosensitive profiling provides systematic and detailed information about libraries of small compounds or extracts, (e.g.phenotypic changes, cytotoxic and antiproliferative properties), using an extensive panel of cell lines of various histological origin.
MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY
Provides services focused on the synthesis, purification, and structural characterization of new organic compounds with targeted biological activity.
Chemical libraries (or compound collections/sets) are one of the essential components for research areas of chemical biology and medicinal chemistry. Chemical libraries are collections of small organic compounds, usable in drug discovery and other industrial processes.

CZ-OPENSCREEN provides the services either under open access policy or on the commercial basis, when user pays the full cost of the project. As part of open access cooperation, Material Transfer Agreement is concluded between CZ-OPENSCREEN and the user. Project accepted to the open access program is evaluated by the Open Access Committee.
