Meet CZ-OPENSCREEN at the Veletrh vědy (Science Fair), taking place on 4–6 June at PVA Letňany in Prague. The Science Fair is the largest popular science event in the Czech Republic, organized annually by the Czech Academy of Sciences since 2015. It focuses on science in all its forms and offers visitors the most interesting insights from the worlds of natural sciences, technology, humanities, and social sciences. At this event, our team will introduce visitors to the journey of discovering biologically active compounds — searching for molecules that could one day serve as the basis for new medicines. We will show how we test thousands of compounds and investigate how they influence specific biological processes. How do we find the right molecule among millions of possibilities? And how can we tell whether it has the potential to become a drug?
